Vision
To become the leading youth development soccer program in the Bay Area by redefining how the game is taught and experienced.
We aim to provide accessible, high-quality training that builds not only better players, but confident individuals who enjoy the game, think independently, and stay engaged in sports for life.
The Bay Area FUNiño Soccer League is committed to developing confident, skilled, and creative young players through a fun, engaging, and development-focused environment.
We prioritize player growth by maximizing touches on the ball, encouraging decision-making, and creating a positive experience that fosters a lifelong love for the game.
Mission
WHAT IS FUNiño Soccer?
FUNiño is a small-sided soccer format designed specifically for child development. Instead of large teams and crowded fields, kids play in smaller groups with more opportunities to touch the ball, make decisions, and stay engaged. The game emphasizes ball movement and scoring opportunities with two small goals on each side to defend and score.
WHY FUNiño Soccer?
1. More touches = faster improvement
Every child is constantly involved.
2. Builds confidence
Kids aren’t hidden in a big team—they get chances to try, fail, and succeed.
3. Develops decision-making
Players learn how to think, not just follow instructions.
5. Age-appropriate development
Designed for how children actually learn—not just scaled-down adult soccer.
